Sensational Sunday Love Links

Due to a sudden cold, rainy front that came through the area last night, our 'outdoor' barbecue with friends was quickly  moved indoors.  :(

Oh well, that's what we get for living in the great Midwest.  We can never plan on the weather cooperating, so we just make the best out of it. 

That we did!!!

Rain or not, we still had loads of fun!!!!  And best of all, the food we prepared was a HIT-especially the Calico Beans I posted about yesterday.  Not surprisingly, when I went to clean up at the end of the night, that crock pot was completely empty! 

So too- was the platter of delicious deviled eggs. 

I put them out with a few other appetizers, and they were gone within minutes.  Funny thing is-one of our friends  likes to think he is a deviled egg connoisseur.  I'm not kidding folks!  His deviled egg recipe is to die for-and one I've been using for years-until last night.

Which brings me to my first LOVE link!

1. If you've been following my blog since it started in January, than you know how much I LOVE Ree Drummond, aka- The Pioneer Woman!  Whenever I decide one of my tried and true recipes need a 'little' spicing up-I always go to Ree!  Once again-she didn't disappoint.  Her deviled egg recipe -with a 'special' ingredient, rocked the house, and even Mr. Connoisseur had to admit they were the BEST he's ever had!

2. I wish I had found this ADORABLE wreath over at Debbie Doos, sooner!  We just threw out some worn out hose a month or so ago!  I guess it's time to do some more 'rummaging', and find one QUICK!

3. Caitlin, Manda, and Marlin, from the blog- The Merry Thought, have my heart swooning over this clever swing bed made from pallets!  Can't you picture yourself lying on this, under a shade tree-one lazy Sunday afternoon this summer?

4.  I recently started following Centsational Girl's blog, and I'm loving her design style!  Even better-Aqua/Turquoise seems to be her favorite color too!

5. If you're like me-(a procrastinator), you are probably still trying to come up with a "SPECIAL" gift for Mother's Day this year.  Well, don't fear, Lil' Luna has 50 creative ideas that will put a HUGE smile on your Mum's face.  I've picked mine out-and will be working on it this week!
