Crock Pot Calico Beans

It's shaping up to be a BEAUTIFUL day here in our neck of the woods!!!  It's a good thing too-because hubby and I are having some friends over tonight, for our first OUTDOOR barbecue of the year!

I'll be cooking up several of our family favorites today-Perfect Potato Salad, Best Ever Brats, Delicious Deviled Eggs, and Crock Pot Calico Beans!

Next week I'll share the other scrumptious recipes-but today is all about the BEANS!!!

But, not just ANY beans....

No sir..  These are SPECIAL beans.  Three-to be exact.  And they are so easy to make!  But don't tell anyone that. (I certainly don't!)  Just let everyone think you spent all day over a hot stove, while they were enjoying the beautiful weather outside!

They don't have to know that it only takes 10 minutes to put these delicious beans together!

So-grab your crock pot folks....

Here is what you'll need:

1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and cut in chunks
1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 15.8 oz can northern beans
1 15 oz can light kidney beans
1 28 oz can Bush's Country Style beans
1 cup diced onion
1 cup ketchup
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp prepared mustard
2 tsp vinegar

Put all the ingredients into a crock pot-and cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 2 hours.

Their so good-I couldn't resist snitching some!!!  But, they are even better after slow cooking for 8 hours.

Well, I guess it's time to get back to the rest of the recipes on my menu.  If only they were all as easy as these BEANS!

Happy Saturday!!!
