Sensational Sunday Love Links!

It's been a couple of weeks since I gave some love, so this week I have a WHOLE lot of it to give!

1.Hubby works in the communication industry, so there are always a few old spools (all different sizes), just sitting around the warehouse.  Rachel, from the blog Maison Pax, not only used spools to make tables for her outdoor space, but she created this gorgeous-industrial clock, which would look amazing on our fireplace!  Now, if only I can convince hubby to bring a spool home!!!

 2. Scones have always been one of my favorite treats for breakfast.  Is there anything better with a cup of coffee???  That is why I definitely pinned this recipe for pumpkin scones, from the blog, Simply Suzanne's!

3.   After seeing this  GORGEOUS chippy gate all decked out for the holiday's- I literally drooled!!  And then I wanted to kick hubby-because when we were at the flea market last month, I wanted to buy a gate very similar to this one, but he said our car was FULL!!! Well, I'm already planning how I'm going to decorate our five trees and home this year-and somehow, I'm going to find another gate!!!

4. Speaking of Christmas-I LOVE the idea of using black and white family photo's to decorate one of my trees!

5.  Suzan from Simply Vintageous is definitely one of my favorite bloggers.  I love reading her posts-not only because she comes up with some pretty amazing ideas when it comes to decorating and DIY-but also, because she is HILARIOUS!!  This post combines both genius and humor!!! Who would have thunk(no this is not a word-but I still love it) to create this cozy little nook for a guest bedroom???  LOVE!!!!  And I love the idea of re purposing a duvet cover into a curtain even more!!!

6. I don't usually follow trends-but here are a two that I found recently for this fall/winter season, that I am definitely in love with......

7. I'm always searching for simple, yet delicious appetizers ideas, to serve to my guests-and this spicy caramelized onion dip one is definitely a winner!!!!   Cheese-bacon and onion-what more could you ask for????

8. I am a huge fan of hot chocolate.  But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, White Hot chocolate!!!  One of the reason's I chose this recipe is because I like that Alyssa took a perfectly good recipe, and 'tweaked' it just a bit to make it her own.  I can't wait to try her additions-heavy cream and nutmeg!  YUM!!

9.  I'm still trying to decide on what style of Thanksgiving tablescape I want this year.(I guess my mind has been on Christmas too much)  Of course it's not easy when you see all the inspiration out there!!   I finally have it down to two styles...

LOVE the glam....

10.  But natural is GORGEOUS too.....

See my problem?    I love them both!  I suppose I better come up with something pretty soon though!  Thanksgiving is right around the corner!!!

Thanks to all the folks who inspired me this week!!!

Wishing you all a SENSATIONAL SUNDAY!!!

Blessings,

Christine
