A Visit to the Cabin in the Woods!

About ten years ago-hubby's folks built a cabin on top of a hill, overlooking a scenic valley with breathtaking views.

But there is more to this 'slice' of heaven than just the view.

So much more.

It's a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of life.

Where the only sounds you hear-are the trees blowing in the wind

and the birds chirping a merry song.

So why not grab your favorite beverage, sit back

and enjoy the ride?

The saying, 'you can take the boy out of the farm-but you can't take the farm out of the boy', holds true for Dad.  Even though he's retired now-there is nothing that makes him happier, than when he's sitting on his old John Deere!

 Except, of course, when he's tending to his vegetable garden.  

As for mom-well, she like's to surround herself with 'prettier' things.

Meandering down the path between her garden's-is always a GREAT adventure.

You're sure to find some special treasures.............

Almost everywhere you look.

Some will make you ooh and ahh..........

And when you least expect it..........you'll find one that just might put a smile on your face.

Together-mom and dad make a great team-especially when it comes to hosting a party.

  Dad is the master at grilling.............

And mom put's it all together!

Which is why no-one EVER goes hungry when they come to visit....
