Well, it's my final day babysitting the grand babies! It has been a great 'mini' vacation-filled with many snuggles-a little shopping-and trying to get used to someone else doing the cooking!!!! But..truth be told- I'm really excited to head home tomorrow! With the temperatures outside hitting a whopping 35 degrees today- I've got a 'spring' in my step-and a whole lot of money saving ideas to bring back with me.
First on my list is making it a point to stop at
Trader's Joe's at least once a month. Now, I know that may not sound exciting for those of you who have this store close by-but, I don't. The nearest one back home-is almost 100 miles away!!!! So, I plan on stocking up on a few products I use on a daily basis!
Since Mel has this shampoo, conditioner and bath gel in her guest shower, I simply HAD to try these products!!! They are not only organic (made with tea tree oil, peppermint, eucalyptus, etc)-they smell amazing, and are inexpensive at $3.99 each!!
I am a true believer in coconut oil!!! I use it for cooking-baking-body lotion-hair conditioner, and sometimes I put a scoop in my coffee-or one in Bentley's food to make his coat shiny! But, I have found it's pretty costly if you want the good stuff!!! Not at Trader Joe's!!! 1 pint is less than $9.00!!!!
There are so many other 'inexpensive'-healthy products at Trader Joe's! Plus!!! The moment you step inside their doors-they have enormous bouquets of fresh SPRING flowers!!! LOVE!!!!

I'm not afraid to admit that I enjoy partaking in a glass of 'good' wine-now and again. But, to get a 'good' bottle of wine-you have to pay some big $$-right? Wrong! Believe it or not-Trader Joes has good wine-AND it's inexpensive!!
I love Moscato- and this one is amazing!!! So it's only $6.99. Who cares? It's good-and only you will know how much it cost when you serve it!
I'm all stocked up-and ready for home! Happy Wednesday folks!
