Happy Sunday, dear friends! I hope your weekend has been sensational!!
If you follow me on Facebook, you probably saw I scored BIG yesterday-
when hubby and I went to an antique store that was
going out of business!! I swear I would have bought everything
they had, but hubby reminded me it was the first
stop of the day-so I behaved.
The above pic is just a few of
the many items I picked up! I'm always on the look out for
turquoise ball jars (I bought 4)and that bottle crate caught my eye
because it came
from a local soda brewery, and normally goes for big $$!
I got it for a steal!
Yes indeed. It was pure-sweet treasure hunting heaven!! And I'll be
sharing more of the treasures I found soon.
After treasure hunting- we came home and I completed the painting
of our front porch. Today I'll be putting the finishing touches on that space.
I can't wait to show you how it all turned out!
In the meantime-pour yourself another cup of coffee-and check
out my loves for the week!
1. Favorite outdoor space-Kristi, from Making it in the Mountains had me at
the turquoise glassware-and that table she and her hubby built...GORGEOUS!!
2. Favorite DIY- Aimie, from Crazy craft lady-wanted a plank wall-but
because she rent's it wasn't possible. Until now!! You won't
believe what she made it from! A must see!
3. Favorite home tour (summer)- I LOVE Kari Anne from Thistlewood Farms style, and her home
is truly lovely all year round! But you absolutely HAVE to see how she 'prettied' it up
for summer! Aren't those blue and white curtains simply MARVELOUS!!
4. Favorite Beverage- Jenny, from Honey and Birch, whipped up a refreshing
beverage-and it sure my caught my eye! Can't you imagine sitting
on your front porch this summer, sipping one of these?? YUM!
5. Favorite tip- Who doesn't love saving money? I sure do-and Sinea, from
Ducks 'n a Row gave some VERY helpful ways to do just that
when buying groceries! I definitely need to do #7 more often!!!
6. Favorite Up-cycle- You all know how much I LOVE a good up-cyle-but
this one BLEW me !! I NEVER would have thought of such
a creative way to give this galvanized wash tub new purpose!
7. Favorite e-book- After raising fifteen children, Val, from Love my DIY home ,
definitely has plenty of knowledge and experience when it comes to raising kiddo's.
And guess what? She's sharing it all for FREE (limited time)!
I've downloaded
my copy already(grandparents need a little help too)-and will be sending one to my daughter!
I hope these amazing folks inspired you as much as they did me!!
Blessings and hugs,
