Fabulous Fall Foliage!

Hello!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Hubby and I enjoyed a wonderfully-relaxing day, yesterday!  We started out with a delicious, hearty breakfast at one of our favorite places in the city, and then we ran a few errands and did some shopping.  Later, we headed out to the farm to help mom with a few chores.

We had a nice surprise when we arrived-my niece, Vanessa, and nephew, Nick were there visiting too!  I swear those two grow another inch, every time I see them!  Thankfully, I had my camera with-so I snapped a few photo's,(I'll share them once they have been edited) because a week from now, I'm sure they will have changed again!!!

I was also grateful I had my camera for the drive home, because, as we drove up the valley ,the scenery was truly breathtaking.

At first, Hubby was extremely patient whenever I asked him to stop for a photo op!

He said he totally understood, because he loves fall colors as much as I do!

But his patience started to wear thin after I made him stop at least twenty times.

I tried to explain that there are twelve miles of this glorious scenery between the farm and our house.....

And I didn't want to miss a thing! But he wasn't buying it.

"No one wants to see a bunch of cows grazing," he said, as he slammed on the brakes, causing a cloud of dust to hit me in the face!

"Or corn fields," he growled, while I stepped out of the truck to get closer.

"They do too," I yelled over my shoulder, as I stomped through the tall weeds.

Bound and determined to catch the beauty around me, I ignored hubby's grumbling, and continued to snap away.

Until hubby reminded me that the sun was going down, and that the snakes were going to making their way home too!

So, I decided maybe it was best if I continued my obsession with the fall foliage, inside the truck.

" Just a few more," I promised, as we made our way up the winding road towards home.

Although he was tired and hungry, hubby remained silent for the next few stops up the hill.

By the time we reached the top, the sun was starting to set.

We were only a few miles from home, when hubby pulled the truck off the side of the road. Confused, I looked over at him and said, "I'm done taking pictures.  What are you stopping for?"

"Look in your rear view mirror," he said, smiling from ear to ear.

And that is why I love my hubby so much.  He get's me.  He TOTALLY gets me!

I'll be sharing at these amazing parties-so stop on over and be inspired!

Blessings,

Christine
