Friday Finds!

Awhile back I mentioned in one of my posts that I was less than impressed with my recent visits to our local Goodwill.  It seemed every time I stopped in, I either couldn't find anything I was interested in, or, if I did, the price tag was a bit to high for my taste.

Well, that all changed this last weekend, when hubby and I went shopping and decided to go another Goodwill in the city.

I've always had a dish obsession-(especially white), so any time I can pick up a set at a reasonable price, I do.  I snatched up this set of Gibson dishes for $15!!!!

I also grabbed the matching milk pitcher to add to my collection.

As well as this one for $2 .......

And this gorgeous one for...wait for it......79 cents!!!!!!!  WOOT! WOOT!

This gorgeous dish caught my eye, because I remember seeing one just like it in my mom's curio cabinet. So, I called her immediately, and after I described the dish and markings on the bottom-she said there was no doubt that it was it the same dish she was given years ago by my Grandma!!!  It was a no-brainer to pick this beauty up for only $1.99!!!

I can always use another serving bowl, and this one is perfect for only $1.00!!!

Since I was also looking for unique items for my office, I couldn't pass up this piece!!!  Although it is meant to hang on the wall-I have a completely 'different' idea for it!!!!

But the BEST find of the day, has to be this cake stand!!!!  I've been looking for one this size for quite awhile-but wasn't willing to bite until I found a good price.  I'd say $5.99 was JUST the right price!!!!


Needless to say-after this AWESOME shopping spree, I am back on the GOODWILL wagon.  And, I will definitely be going back soon!!!!
